This month offers many opportunities to learn, show up, and take action. To make it easier to get involved, we’ve gathered a list of events happening across our community, keep reading to explore what’s ahead.

Reclaiming Pleasure: Survivors, Sexuality, and Healing
This Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we’re bringing together survivors, advocates, and clinicians to talk openly about sexuality, healing, and breaking stigma.
Panelists will explore how individuals navigate sexuality after trauma, discuss common challenges, share practical approaches to support healing, and highlight how providers can create space for conversations about pleasure without reinforcing shame.
This panel is designed for advocates, counselors, healthcare providers, educators, and community partners committed to survivor-centered practice and is open to the public.

Rally Against Sexual Assault 2026
Korean American Family Service Center (KAFSC) invites community members, advocates, and allies to join us for RASA 2026: Rally Against Sexual Assault, a powerful gathering dedicated to raising awareness, standing in solidarity with survivors, and calling for a violence-free future.
This rally is led by KAFSC’s Youth Community Project Team (YCPT), amplifying the voices of young leaders who are committed to ending sexual violence and building safer, more equitable communities. Sexual violence remains a deeply underreported issue in immigrant and culturally specific communities due to stigma, language barriers, fear, and systemic inequities. For many Korean American and Asian immigrant survivors, accessing help can feel isolating or unsafe. At KAFSC, ending gender-based violence is core to our mission. RASA reflects our long-standing commitment to breaking cycles of violence, addressing intergenerational trauma, and ensuring survivors know they are not alone.

Take the First Annual Sexual Abuse Census
The Sexual Abuse Census is a trauma-informed, survivor-led global data project by The Healing and CPTSD Foundation. This census gathers anonymous data from survivors of all forms of sexual abuse, including child sexual abuse, incest, grooming, assault, coercion, exploitation, and institutional harm. For too long, these experiences have been minimized, hidden inside families, protected by systems, or reduced to statistics that don’t reflect the long-term reality. We are changing that. Whether you were believed or not. Whether it happened once or over years. Whether you have a diagnosis or are still making sense of your story — your voice belongs here.
Your responses will help:
• Identify patterns of abuse and systemic failure
• Document long-term mental, physical, relational, and economic impact
• Strengthen survivor-led advocacy and policy reform
• Build data that cannot be ignored
If interested, share your experiences for the census here.
Survivor Support Circles with the CPTSD HUB
Are you feeling isolated in your healing journey with c-ptsd? You are not alone.
We know the journey can be overwhelming—not just because of the emotional, mental, and physical struggles, but also because finding trustworthy resources and true understanding can feel nearly impossible. When friends and family don’t fully get it, or when helpful resources seem scattered and hard to find, it’s easy to feel stuck.
That’s why we created the Healing and C-PTSD Community Hub, where we’re offering numerous free support circles for survivors this April. We’re here to break that cycle of isolation and provide a one-stop space for real support. Here, you’ll find a compassionate community that truly “gets it” and a wealth of expert-led resources, designed specifically for complex trauma survivors. Our upcoming offerings include:
