Are you a creative storyteller and communicator with a passion for social justice? Do you want to use your communication skills to create positive change for survivors of sexual violence in NYC?
We want to hear from you!
As Communications Intern, you will play a key role in The Alliance’s storytelling, fundraising, and awareness-raising efforts. You’ll help manage our online presence—including our website, mailing list, and social media platforms—while crafting compelling content that educates, engages, and inspires.
If you love creating digital content and are highly organized, creative, and eager to contribute to the sexual violence response in NYC, this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on communications experience while making a difference.
How To Apply:
– Review the position description here and submit a cover letter and resume to chloe@svfreenyc.org.
– Your cover letter should be 1-2 pages and outline why you think you’re a great match for this role and its responsibilities.
– Applications close Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:59pm.
– Not sure you have all the skills listed in the position description? We understand that you don’t need to meet every single requirement to make a positive impact. We value diverse experiences and a willingness to learn, so even if you don’t think you tick every box, we encourage you to apply. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for!
