The New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault
This training covers topics such as, but not limited to, defining disability, defining sexual violence, the incidence of sexual violence against people with disabilities, defining ableism, what is disability justice, harmful stereotypes, misconceptions, and generalizations of people with disabilities, the Americans with Disability Act, the offenders, and how to communicate and serve the disability community affected by sexual assault.
