If a survivor chooses to disclose to you, it means you are someone they trust. Your support can have a lasting impact on their recovery. For many, providing support to someone who has been sexually assaulted can be intimidating due to not knowing what to say. Below, we offer some guidance and resources on being there in a way that’s genuine, appropriate and assuring.
