Join us for a training to recognize, respond and prevent childhood sexual abuse and work with survivors.


Attendees will increase their knowledge and skills to:

• Identify childhood sexual abuse, recognizing signs and red flags and its effects on children and families

• Prevent child sexual abuse and ways to keep children safe

• Respond to a child sexual abuse disclosures

• Treat child sexual abuse

• Become advocates for sexually abused children


Presenter: Ireen Ninonuevo, LCSW, specializes in the trauma treatment and prevention of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. After she directed a child sexual abuse treatment and prevention program for five years, she started private practice and a consulting service for trainings, supervision, and helping faith communities prevent child sexual abuse. She has helped hundreds of survivors heal through trauma focused techniques such as EMDR, TF-CBT, and Trauma Art Narrative Therapy. She has provided prevention workshops to multi-disciplines including teachers, therapists, case managers, church and children’s education staff, as well as parents and minors age 3 to 17.
