New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault: Webinar Recording: A Bystander Intervention Approach to Preventing Sexual Violence in New York State

On June 27th, 2012, the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault hosted a webinar focused on bystander intervention strategies currently being used in New York State.  Alexis Marbach of the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault joined us to discuss the development of the national bystander intervention movement and to examine how these strategies may contribute to changing social norms. Throughout the webinar, presenters from VIBS Family Violence and Rape Crisis Center and The Advocacy Center shared examples of bystander interventions being implemented using educational, social marketing, and social media strategies.
